I believe dog training starts with the Human end of the leash.

I do as much Human training as I do Dog training.

Dog training is not just training the dog, it's teaching the people to understand the dog.

Once there is a understanding of how dogs think and communicate, people can do a much better job of teaching them.

Dogs are like toddlers, they will always do what works.

Humans must learn to catch the behavior before the behavior is practiced, not after, and what to teach the dog to do instead of the undesired behavior.
